This policy explains what personal data TheMedCoach collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, the date your account was created, your trial end date, and the version of these terms you accepted.
- Subscription data: from Paddle, our Merchant of Record: a subscription and customer identifier, the plan, its status and billing dates. We do not receive or store card details.
- Study data on your device: My Stack (saved boxes) and practice progress are stored in your browser's local storage and are not sent to us.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the Service.
Why we use it
To sign you in, provide the free trial and the subscription you purchased, prevent misuse, and contact you about your account. The legal bases are the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
Who processes it
- Supabase (account database and sign-in emails), hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt).
- Paddle (checkout, payment, tax and invoicing), which acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the website).
We do not sell personal data and do not use advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account from the Account dialog, your account and its profile and subscription records are deleted from our database. Paddle keeps transaction records as required by tax law.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion, and you may object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies and storage
The Service uses one cookie and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, and local storage for My Stack and practice progress. These are necessary for the Service to work; no analytics or advertising cookies are used.
