Terms of Use

Last updated 29 October 2026

1. Who we are

TheMedCoach (“TheMedCoach”, “we”, “us”) provides study notes and practice questions for medical students at themedcoach.com (the “Service”). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for medical students and others studying medicine.

4. Your account

5. Free trial

A new account receives one free trial of 3 days with full access to the subjects on sale, starting when the account is created. No payment details are needed. One trial is available per person; creating further accounts to obtain additional trials is not permitted, and we may limit or close accounts used for that purpose.

6. Subscriptions, prices and payment

7. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time using the link in your Paddle receipt email or by writing to us. After cancellation no further payments are taken, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial study. You must not:

9. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, including the text, questions, explanations, illustrations, icons, design and software, are owned by TheMedCoach or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own study while your access is active. All other rights are reserved.

10. Educational content

The Service is an educational resource. It is not medical advice and must not be used for the diagnosis or treatment of any person; see the Medical Disclaimer. We check the content against recognized textbooks and official sources, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors, and it does not replace your course materials or official examination guidance. TheMedCoach is not affiliated with or endorsed by the USMLE, the NBME, the FSMB or any university or licensing body.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, add or remove content and features. If we stop offering a subject you have paid for before the end of your billing period, we will refund the unused part of that period.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, for example through account sharing or content copying, after notice where reasonable. On termination for breach, no refund is due for the current period except where the law requires one.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and of examination results.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TheMedCoach is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, opportunity or examination results, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. We will give notice of material changes by email or in the Service before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
